mrtg without router?

hello everyone,

i have a project on mrtg so i want to install and run mrtg on my PC with suse 10.
thus, i dont have any router. What can i do now?
how must i configure mrtg and snmp to listen my ethernet device?
Can i follow my LAN from my pc ethernet?

Help, please?

well there's no big badge on a linux server that says it's a router or it's not. if you're using it as a router then MRTG is still doing the same work as on a non-routing linux server, so just configure it as normal really.

no, that's what standard project documentation is for. ask questions about specific issues, not to make us recite docs.
