Mrtg

Hi All,

I have configured the MRTG for my network.
snpmd is running
everything is configured fine .

But when i run the command: mrtg /etc/mrtg/mymrtg.cfg

it displays me a error as :

MRTG will most likely not work properly when the environment
variable LANG is set to UTF-8.Please run mrtg in an environment
where this is not the case.Try the following command to start
env LANG=C /usr/bin/mrtg /etc/mrtg/mymrtg.cfg

after this command i try to run again the same mrtg command but i get the same error. please let me know how to fix this problem

thanks

In this site How to install MRTG under Linux i have posted a guide which explains how to install mrtg under linux. I think it would be a good help for anyone who tries to install mrtg.
