To mount a Windows Share, at the prompt as root type:

mount -t smbfs //ip address or computer name/share name /mnt/mount point

To unmount the Share, at the prompt as root type:
umount /mnt/mount point

I did exactly what you said logan and here is what i get....

WARNING: no network interface found
12094: session request to 192.168.0.11 failed (Called name not present)
12094: session request to 192 failed (Called name not present)
Password:
12094: session setup failed: ERRDOS - ERRnoaccess (Access Denied.)
SMB Connection failed

I tried it just like you put it and it still doesnt work. Ive tried the user pass and the admin or root pass and nothing works....but it does ask me for my password.....any other suggestions?

NycOn the command has to be typed exactly, it took me several tries to get it right. Once the password is excepted go to the mount point, mine is /mnt/disk and the windows shared files and folders should be there.
