Question Monitoring broadcast


What is the best way to monitor broadcast.

Can you use tcpdump or?

You can use tcpdump. If you want a tool with more features I suggest ethereal.

I have not learned how to use expressions with tcpdump so I would
use a command like;
tcpdump -n | grep 192.168.0.255

I guess the proper way would be somthing like
tcpdump -n tcp dst broadcast or udp dst broadcast
