MOD_JK2 with TOMCAT4.1.24-Apache2
Here's my situation, I don't know S@#T about Linux. I have a problem getting Tomcat to even work first of all and I only have one service that is running under TOP for tomcat. I can't get to the default webpage for tomcat after the install. Heck, I don't even know how to uncomment the root context part out of the file so I can test to make sure the thing works. I'm trying to get to the point where I can install mod_jk2. Every piece of documentation on the internet blows. Can someone please help or point me in the direction of a dumby proof document. Remember, I really stupid on Linux REDHAT9. I'm just starting to learn commands, that's how new. Anything would be a great help
Thanks, Randy |

I found the problem
I didn't have the webapps modules installed. So for all those out there this is what fixes the 500 problem.
