Misconfigured iptables
I misconfigured my iptables, I got a command line from a site and now I cannot connect to my computer anymore. Is there anyway I can remotely reboot my computer whithout ssh support?

Is this for a colocated machine in a data center? The access you get depends on the provider. My one gave me two sets of login details at the start of the contract, one for SSH access to the box itself and one into an admin shell which I could reboot from.

run from a terminal
root@host># iptables -v -n -L
This will give all the rules and what rules were used.
Try getting to the server again and this should show what rule is blocking the connection.

I solved the problem by mannually rebooting the system. But I wanted to know if there is other way but the shell to remote reboot a linux system.

You could restart iptables and networking;
-> service iptables restart
-> service network restart

jludwig - I think you missed the point. He had no access to the system. No root prompt.
