mipv6 Installation problem in linux (ubutnu)

We are able to install mipv6 patch2.0.2 for the Linux kernel 2.6.16.20 but wheh we are unable to boot into the new kernel enabled by mipv6

I get this problem

Error 27 : Unrecognized command
Press any key to continue

After changing the menu.lst file in /boot/grub we are getting the following error like the above
