Minimal domain propagation
This is driving me crazy.
System:
Linux bradakis.com 3.10.13-101.fc18.i686.PAE #1 SMP Fri Sep 27 20:53:16 UTC 2013 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
I "upgraded" to 19, but the kernels keep crashing every 10, 30, 60 minutes with GPU lockups. Going back to 18 lets me go 5 - 10 hours a session. This is on an older Compaq machine, which may be the root of the GPU issues.
But my current issue is with named:
BIND 9.9.3-rl.13207.22-P2-RedHat-9.9.3-5.P2.fc19 (Extended Support Version)
My zone files are all very similar, basically just defining X.Y with Y being either .net or .org or .com, domains being held by two different registrars. All domains point to the same 2 nameservers. All domains used to work.
But now tools like dnstuff.com can find bradakis.com, it can find byteryder.net, but not zivio.org or utahbluessociety.org. And I can find nothing in any logs to determine why some domains work, and some don't.
Suggestions on what to look for now?
Thanks,
mjb.

The last 3 domains give a SERVFAIL from here. Most likely it's because the authoritative dns servers (ns1.britishmotorclub.org, ns2.britishmotorclub.org) do not respond to their IPs (166.70.156.34 and 166.70.156.35).
Using your dns (ns1.bradakis.com - 50.198.190.18), everything resolves fine.
So I guess you need to contact the britishmotorclub.org admin, to change the 2 nameservers IPs accordingly

Well, I AM the britishmotorclub.org admin. Three weeks ago I switched from DSL to Comcast cable, and it took some time to make all the necessary IP changes, got it all working again in a day or two. But apparently the registrar for britishmotorclub somehow reverted back to the old IP addresses a few days ago which messed up a lot of stuff. I assumed the error was on my end, not theirs. What fun.
Pretty much everything is getting back to normal now regarding DNS, if it happens again I know what I will check first!
