Microsoft MS-510 on Slackware 9

Okay, i'm trying to install a MS-510 Wireless PCMCIA NIC onto a Toshiba Satellite 1805-S204 running Slackware 9. Following instructions on http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...03/02/1/43807, I had success with the copying the microsoft.conf file into /etc/pcmcia. However, I wish to use the actual wireless scripts in the pcmcia directory to start/stop/configure the wireless card.

When I remove the microsoft.conf file from the pcmcia directory, it won't pick up the card correctly, and I'm not sure how to configure wireless.opts.

I'm really new to PCMCIA in Linux (This is the first card I've ever used), so I really don't know what I'm doing . Any help would be appreciated.
