Metric change question

Installed RH Enterprise WS. Have 2 nics running. Purpose is to load an Intrusion detection system between the firewall and the lan. The metric for eth0 is 1 and the metric for eth1 is 0. How can I reverse the netric settings.

Use ifconfig command. It has an option 'metric' that allows you to set interface metric.
