measuring b/w, latency...

I have just leased a new connection from my ISP. this is a fibre connection from my network to the ISP. its said to be running on 128Kbps but i am not sure. so i decided to test this connection for measuring b/w, jitter, latency and others using the iperf tool available from
http://dast.nlanr.net/Projects/Iperf/#download
the problem is it requires me to run a iperf server in one location and the client in other. I am just in one place so how do get a iperf server for myself. i am a bit confused here.

is it reliable?
--------------------------------------------
sn. Download(Kbps) Upload(Kbps)
--------------------------------------------
1. 78.2 114.4
2. 214 65.6
3. 147 142
4. 70.2 130
5. 132 36
--------------------------------------------
avg: 128.2 97.6
--------------------------------------------

i am thinking more about 'ntop', i hope i can use it and i hope it gives me more accurate results. anyway thanks gr3p.

yes it will not be accurate offcourse considering there is no other network activity i.e no one else using the bandwidth while you are testing.
