Masquerading ppp0 and eth0

I have the following configuration

PC 1 <==================> PC2 <=================/ LAN /
ppp0 nullmodem ppp0 eth0 LAN

From LAN i connect to PC1 by telnetting to PC2 and from there a telnet to
PC1.

Between PC1 and PC2 i have a null modem connection.

I tried masquerading but it didnt help {ive enabled IP forward and I am able to telnet using ppp0 of PC2 also}

I need to connect from LAN directly to PC1.

Any help would be great

your drawing shows up kinda funny but:

1. I hope you arent really using telnet. It's ok for a LAN but unsafe in general (and that's if the LAN is trusted). Basically, quit using telnet and use ssh

2. To connect directly PC1, you'll need to setup PC2 as a router. And any router on your LAN will need to also forward packets correctly.
