Map network netdrive from NTFS

Hey guys,
I just configured my samba. It's worked. I managed to mount my XP drive(which is NTFS).And my XP managed to map my Linux box folder too. My Xp is client of my linux box. Well, when I tried to mount my Uni. network drive, it end up with connection failed. Then I tried another solution.Since my Xp is using my linux ip(WAN), i think it should be a able to map my Uni. network drive. When I click map network, it pop up the network path does not exit. After I checked my internal subnet mask, it's diff. from my Uni. mask.
my internal is 255.255.255.0 and my Uni subnet is 255.255.254.0.
This make my Xp couldn't communicate with my Uni. So you guys any idea? Anything mount from linux or map from my xpclient. I just wanna to access though network drive my uni. By the way, my Uni. is running PDC. Thank you guys

mircea,
I can't because my linux ip is provided by my Uni. I can't change the subnet mask. They will not allow me to change it. The only thing that I can change is my internal xp box.
Thank you
