Manrake linux 10.1, Homepna 1 problem
Hi.
I installed Mandrake Linux 10.1 official on my computer yesterday.
The problem is, that I can't get my HomePNA 1.1 internet working at all!
Mandrake recognizes my HPNA card correctly, but I don't have a clue how to get the connection work.. I've googled for several hours, but I haven't found anything helpful..
I tried Suse linux 9.3 before Mandrake, but I uninstalled it in a few days because I had the same problem.
I got the HomePNA connection working fine with WinXP, Ubuntu linux and Fedora Core 3, with adding these kinds of lines to /etc/modules or /etc/modprobe.conf.local :
alias eth1 pcnet32
options eth1 homepna=1
options pcnet32 homepna=1
(my HPNA card is eth1)
and running the command "modprobe pcnet32 pcnet32_homepna=1", "depmod -a" and rebooting the system.
Is there a way as easy as with ubuntu and FC3 to get my internet working with Mandrake?
I'd also appreciate a lot if someone knows how to get it work with Suse 9.3; I liked that more than Mandrake...
