Question Mandrake is copying / to the 2nd hard drive

My system has 2 identical hard drives. Both are masters, hdda and hddb. hdda contains Mandrake 9.2. hddb is supposed to be shared thruogh Samba as a data. When I mount hddb, that has only one ext3 partition, to /home/data I can see that / is copied to it. Directories and files are there and you can browse it. Is Mandrake confused with 2 identical drives or I am doing something wrong?
Thanks.
