Mandrake & XP network Question

Has anyone already connected MDK 9.0 to the net using a cable modem connection, I want to get a hub to share another connnection to the net..But I can't seem to find a hub and a network card thats compatible w/ mkk 9.0..Has anyone already, connected to the net using a hub or a network card, if yes...Can u tell me which network card u used and which hub thx..
