Question Mandrake 10.1 And A DLink DSL-504T


i have a DLink DSL-504T and have just installed mandrake 10.2
and i cannot connect to the internet, i can ping websites and other computers on the network but cannot access websites

the router works fine in winxp and in knoppix live cd

does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

I'm now fairly sure that the problem is someting to do with DNS

if i ping a website then enter the ip from that ping into my browser the site comes up like normal

anybody have any ideas ?

Set your dns to point at your isp's dns server. I have the same problem. For some reason the dns forwarder/cache on 504t doesn't work very well. There are many good places to find out about these routers try the forums at
