Making the software to use specific network interface.

I currently set up a second NIC so I could work with the local network. That network also has a connection to Internet so now most of the traffic goes through the local network even if the other connection is connected straight to ISP.

I also use BitTorrent sometimes and I would like to have its traffic go through the "public" interface. However, BitTorrent client (Transmission) always chooses the local network route. How can I make it so that it would choose the other NIC?

Heh, nevermind. The local interface was set to as the default route. I got it fixed by starting the public interface first.
