Question mailserver problem

Hello

We have setup an intranet mailserver, with

Domainname as itutor.net
hostname as ms

when i have to send a mail within us we have to send it as

username@ms.itutor.net

rather then

username@itutor.net

What can i do to solve this problem. will CNAME help.

How do i enable autoreply in my mailserver

regards
jayakrishnan

Check your MX record in DNS and see what the mail server name is. You may have to set it for the fully qualified name of your mail server.

This could be due to the way you named in the /etc/hosts and the name that use in de mailserver, change the order inthe hosts and try again.
