I'd like to make a mailserver, something that will check several pop3 accounts every 30mins or so then store messages so users (linux or windows) can retrieve them later on from the local mailserver. Is this possible? If so where can I find out how to do it?
well, that's not a server is it? you're not serving anything, you're after a client app. you're after fetchmail. check the man pages for fetchmail and fetchmailconf
