mailinglist+sendmail


we all have bee seeing mailing list through out the web. like one get's subscribed to mailing list. then he send's his problem to everyone who are also subscribed. does sendmail has this kind of facility. if yes then what is the package name. and can any one point me to a good tutorial on this

At work we use listserv (I saw on the site http://www.lsoft.com/ that it's no more free...)
From my mail account, I use LIST list_name to see who is on a list, ADD user_name list_name alias and DEL user_name list_name alias to add and del someone on a list.

But the most famous free soft is sympa I think.

Although I have never used it myself, I know the GNU Mailman software is a popular mailing list application. Google around a little bit, try a few things, and stick with what you like.
