maildir folder

Doesnt postfix create /maildir folder for users automatically with right the parameters ?

I know it does cause i have done earlier.

This line my postfix configuration file, main.cf. supposed to do the job but wont.

'home_mailbox = Maildir/'

or according to Ubuntu, running:
sudo postconf -e 'home_mailbox = Maildir/'

I restarted and reloaded but nothing happens
