mail text client

Hi i need a simple mail text client....in order to send my emails...
I want to be easily executed from command mode. I want to do something like this
emailcommand <parameters to connect to pop3> <emails to sent>...
I want something like this.... but it is necessary to send everything from command mode... The reason for that is that i need to enter a command in my cronntab in order to send everything the night, when my internet is very cheap....
Thx

Firstly you don;t connect to POP3 to send mails. If you want to retrieve mails via POP, use "fetchmail".

Sending a mail is as easy as echo "This is a test" | mail you@lala.com or you can write a script in shell or perl or python. You can also use sendmail on commandline to send a mail.
