Madwifi installation fail ( Backtrack 5 )

Hi guys, I'm totally new in linux world, so sorry if i have some stupid sentence/question here, and also sorry for my bad english.

I made a clean installation of the backtrack 5 r3 in my VMware workstation. The main problem is that, I have ath9k driver for my atheros device ( TP-Link TL-WN422G ), and I want to install madwifi driver but I can't because i get some error. I tried a lot of ways, readed a lot, but I can't solve this alone, so I would really appreciate that somebody helps me.

I downloaded the latest drivers from the madwifi-ng site, and when I trying to install them ( make && make install ) its says that:

"Sybol version dump /usr/src/linux-source-3.2.6/Module.symvers is missing; modules will have no depencies and modversions."

I think, this is the first step what I should solve. What should I do?

As the distribution developers, one would likely expect us to recommend that everyone use Kali Linux. The fact of the matter is however, that Kali is a Linux distribution specifically geared towards professional penetration testing and security auditing and as such, it is NOT a recommended distribution for those unfamiliar with Linux.
