MA DSL providers that like Linux
Anyone in the Northeast US manage to find a DSL provider that is compatible with Linux? In my travels, I found Verizon isn't terribly Linux friendly, nor is Comcast... any other suggestions? shoe
I use Verizon, and I've had no problems at all. They use pretty standard PPPoE, which is about as good as it gets, besides a static LAN, or possibly DHCP. But it seems ISPs don't use those anymore, for the most part...
same here got VerizonDSL set up in about 5 min, no probs
don't even bother with comcrap to much $$$$$$ and if you ever did need support once you say linux they'll prob pay catch with you for an hour b4 the get the balls to say they don't know (thats what RCN did to me).
