LVS/Tun+heartbeat+ldirector

I am trying to setup load balancing using LVS/TUN. I am using heartbeat to monitor the two load balancers, one being a hot standby in conjunction with Ldirectord which monitors the real servers and manipulated the LVS table accordingly.

Is there anyway of adding more real servers to the cluster without restarting the heartbeat service. Currently Heartbeat starts and monitors Ldirectord.

thanks.

I read your original post wrong. I think you will have to edit your haresources file and for that new config file to take affect, you have to restart the sevice. You would need to add the new servers and IP address so that your backup server would know what virtual addresses to takeover.

I'm still not clear what your set up is like or what you had in mind.
