LVS is it possible for IIS: Houston we have a problem...

Ok, ive been run'n Linux on a production evironment for..

Uptime: 16:19:31 up 250 days..

Love that linux! 8)

Unlike my IIS servers that is needed to be restarted every now and then... darn! (and give headaches and sleepless nights, just wondering if its working or not..) As much as we want to migrate from PHP, its just not possible for us right now..

now my problem is.. IIS is freaking out! ( we dont have a problem on bandwidth nor server.. the problem is on the application end.. which is IIS(ARGH!!!).. if only microsoft will learn how to behave like a linux server!

i am new to the LVS idea, and F5 is sooooooo expensive!

now.. my question is.. is it possible to implement a successful LVS and IIS environment? on my iis server i need to run:

HTTP (80)
and
HTTPS (443)

i read about PLB but it only talks about HTTP (80)

Any recommendation?
