ls -al command question


this command shows the file size.
There is something I'm not sure about how to read the file size
For instance, file size says "330325654"
Is this 330 MB?
or 330 KB?

It is:
330,325,654 Bytes
322,583 KB
315 MB

Alternatively you could do ls -alh

The h puts it in human readable form. This works for most commands that give a size output.

I always confuse those bits, bytes that kind of stuff.

you should try and use words and nibbles as well.. and the rest.. there are as many units as you could pretend there are uses for
