Lost SSH connections after idle

Hello,
At my office after a couple of minutes idle, our SSH connections to different servers always get lost.
I don't have this problem if I SSH from home. So I'm pretty sure it's a hardware issue or lost packets from the ISP.
I think it's a problem with the router or switch here. But I have no idea what settings to look into so where should I start looking at ?
Thanks,

You could start by monitoring connectivity in general with those locations and running verbose SSH sessions. If connections all seem fine and SSH output doesn't show anything awkward then you could compare ~/.ssh/config and /etc/sshd_config settings. Meanwhile maybe check if using AutoSSH ("monitor and restart ssh sessions") temporarily alleviates disconnections while you work on this issue and don't forget to run "screen" on the remote boxen so you can attach back to your session after you log in.
