[root@anarchy:/home/kilroy] ifconfig -a
ath0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
          inet addr:192.168.0.14 Bcast:192.168.0.255 Mask:255.255.255.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

          TX packets:2736 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
          RX bytes:3206882 (3.0 Mb) TX bytes:372659 (363.9 Kb)

eth0 Link encap:Local Loopback
          inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0
          UP LOOPBACK RUNNING MTU:16436 Metric:1
          RX packets:4 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:4 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:0
          RX bytes:200 (200.0 b) TX bytes:200 (200.0 b)

eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
          BROADCAST MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
          TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
          RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)
          Interrupt:19 Base address:0xc000

wifi0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-00-00-00-00-00-00-00 -00
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
          RX packets:31939 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:6155
          TX packets:3040 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
          collisions:0 txqueuelen:199
          RX bytes:6616737 (6.3 Mb) TX bytes:468675 (457.6 Kb)
          Interrupt:21 Memory:f8ae0000-f8af0000
I dont really remeber changing anything since it happened and the only reason i noticed it was it broke some stuff
that attempted to access eth0 now renamed eth1.

Some specs you may be interested in:
Slackware-11
Korg 2.6.17.6
udev 0.64

If anyone has any ideas as to how this happened or some way to fix it i would appreciate the help.
Thanks
