Login scripts for windows shares

I'm using the fedora 2 core and the Gnome gui and was wondering how I could either setup login scripts for users using the gnome gui so they can map out drives to shares on windows servers or if there is a way to have a user that logs on pull the login script from a windows server and map shares out that way. I've read in some areas to go to Prefrences>More Prefrences and then click on sessions and add lines in there but I don't have a "sessions" option to click on. Any suggestions or ideas? I'm also doing this from inside the Gnome GUI as I am not that proficient with the command line of linux.

Normal way of "mapping" shares in linux is to add entries in /etc/fastab to automount filesystems and resources. This however is per machine, not per user.

There surely would be possible to handcraft a solution using linux scripts that connect the windows and grab the scripts and reparse. Don't know how to go about with that right away. Haven't seen this done before.
