Logging on to Novell with SUSE 9

Hi,

after searching on the web and Novell's site I cannot find anything.
I am looking for a way to log on to my Novell network, execute the login script and print via a queue based printer.

It is a Novell 6 Netware network with TCP/IP.

Is there a howto that anyone knows?
Or do I need a Novell client.

I really want to start using Linux more but I need to be able to download my data and print to do this.

Thanks in advance,

Eduard de Vries

Hello,

Novell does not provide a client for linux but there are lots of cool people out there programming useful stuff for us.

Check http://novelclient.sourceforge.net/

I use Red Hat 8.0 and Novell Netware 5.0 and it works fine.

Running login scripts does not work but printing is possible. Just add a new printer in your Printer configuration in Suse, make settings like Printqueue - Server -etc...

That should work fine.

Bye
