Log downloads

I have an ADSL internet connection, and I would like to log the download traffic, so that I do not run over my monthly account limit. Does anyone know how to do this?

You will need to engage IPFW packet accounting.

Maybe something like:

sbin/ipfwadm -A out -a -P tcp -S $PPPREMOTE -D $ALL $PORT -x

What are you using for your NAT/firewall?
