I am trying to lock down a specific VirtualHost in Apache, I want it only to be possible to access if they are comming from a certain referrer - is this possible?

It is possible, you could do it the same way that some sites pervent image hotlinking:

Obviously the referer can be easily spoofed so don't rely on it for security or anything.
