localhost:901,it says:it cannot be found.


I donot know why when i try it in my friend's pc.

Hi,

Presumably the samba-swat rpm is not installed or swat is not activated under xinetd.

Download --> ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.1/e....7-36.i386.rpm

Install as root with:

# rpm -Uvh samba-swat*

then turn-on under xinetd :

# /sbin/chkconfig swat on

It should now work as http://localhost:901 . If you need access over the network you'd have to change the restriction in the /etc/xinetd.d/swat file.
