uh ho.. nother problem, i set DNS hosts like Comp100, Comp101, Comp102 etc. my linux was Linux102, now its [root@localhost root] it used to be [root@linux102] foudn out it's DMZ was changed from 102 to 105. how do i fix it? and why does it do that, it's happend before too
|
CRTL alt <something>
Doesn't log you out. That's the beauty of Linux, you can be logged on more then once. Try CTRL ALT F2 then CTRAL ALT F1 you'll see that you're just moving between what are called tty terminals (actually those kind of terminals more specifically are pty, but generally doesn't make much of a difference) |
>uh ho.. nother problem,
it might help if you post your /etc/hosts file I assume thats what you are messing with. >foudn out it's DMZ was changed from 102 to 105 eh? You mean the last digit of it's ip address? If it's allocated with DHCP then talk to your network administrator. |
i am the network administrator
