local desktop can't access server

Hey

So my problem is this. I also have 1 desktop PC on the same LAN as server and the problem is that while i can connect directly to server using server's local ip, i cannot for example access any domain on my server from desktop PC.

In the /etc/hosts file on the desktop pc which has the server,
add the LAN ip number and all the url names you would use to connect.

The server is expecting a combination of the url name and ip number, (which is usually entered in httpd.conf as the LAN ip number)
