Everytime I restart my computer I have to reapply Lisa. Is there a way I can configure it so that I don't have to apply it everytime I boot.

well, i have no idea what Lisa is, or what privelages it requires, but if it is a prog just go into the /etc/rc.d/ directory, you can find the appropiate rc.xxx. There prolly should be a rc.local, just add the command to that. These are the startup scripts your kernel runs through.
