linux+windows file server

Hello Dear All,

I am using Red Hat linux Enterprise edition, and I
have configured squid and samba.
At present i am using squid for blocking some websites
only.
and samba server is for sharing a folder accross
network(Windows+Linux).

1.Now I want to configure such type of networking
system in which every user must logon using its own
username and password(same for both) to linux and
windows server and he/she have own home directory
which must be acessible to both linux and windows.(I
mean one directory/folder per user in a network.)

2.and also I want to use the squid for traping users
those are trying to access unauthorised websites.

Please Help me,

Have a nice day,

Rajendra Shakyawal

A couple of questions..

Why do users need to logon to the RHE server?
Each different logon reason may require a different solution.. eg
a domain server would require samba-tng..

And with squid, what do you want to do after trapping users?
