Linux User from Active directory

hi,
my organisation had one active directory with hundred of user in it. last week, we had setup linux as FTP server. now we would like to give access to this FTP server to the users in active directory... without changing anything. means that they can use their username and password that they used in active directory.

is it possible?... if yes, how do i do it?

If your FTP server supports PAM, you might be able to use either the LDAP or Kerberos PAM modules, or Samba's pam_winbind. If your FTP server supports LDAP, AD is supposed to be an LDAP server so you might be able to use that directly.

I used vsftpd on FC4.
