linux traffic control (tc)

Hi, does anyone have experience in using linux traffic control, the tc command? Is it possible to add 2 types of qdisc (such as loss and delay) to a device at once? I tried adding 2 rules, and when adding the second rule an error message comes up: RTNETLINK answers: File exists.

Thanks in advance for any help.
