Linux to win net sharing

I am currently sitting at a PC running windows XP, it uses a dial up connection to connect to the net (I cant get broadband, live in middle of no-where).... My other PC is connected via a network cable to this one, and is running mandrake linux.

I have a few questions...

1) How do I make both machines realise there is another one at the other end using a different OS?

2) How can make the linux machine connect to the net over the LAN through this machine (when its dialed up)...

3) How can I have the other machine allowing incoming connections (so I can use it as a local test server for my sites, running apache PHP and SQL)

I am a total newbie to all this, so please talk slowly and not in 100% code

Thank you

Go to here there are loads of what are called " HOWTO's " documents describing how to setup linux for almost anything you want!! To answer all your questions in depth here would take a week!! Read the documentation on this site, learn how to network a linux box, learn how to configure a package called samba this is a program that allows MS Windows and UNIX / Linux to share files. I am not sure if it is possible to use MS ICS to act as a dialup server for a Linux box, I would use the linux box as the server.
