Linux To Linux Sharing Help

Hello

I have 3 boxes running OpenSuse (2x10.2, 1x10.1). The 2 10.2's are also dual boot machines (Windows XP). I have Samba running, and working well as long as at least 1 box is in Windows. If all 3 are in Linux at same time, no box can see other machines in network. I can map directly to the ip addresses, and see the shared folders then. How can I best set it up so that whether a Windows box is running or not, the shares will show up in network browsing?

Would it be best to run NFS as well? And if so, how do I set it up?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Harpo

I would say run NFS as well as Samba. See this. Its fairly easy to set up. If you are worried about security issues, I suggest tunneling NFS through SSH. You could also set up the Linux only box to be the domain master (I think thats it) for the smb network.
