Linux SMB Svr <-> Linux Clnt and roaming profiles
 

Is it possible to get roaming profiles on linux.

And also the best would be to have the home in KDE to be a mounted network share so automaticlly everything that a user wants to save is saved on his share on the server instead of local.

Can this all be done using samba ?
I heard there would be problems mounting a samba share to home cause of file locking and permissions and stuff..

But if anyone could give me a nice neat solution that would be GREAT !!!

please does anyone have any suggestions ?

How is SMBFS or the CIFS filesystem ?
is it stable enough for a production environment ?
