Linux Server with an old computer

Hi

I've got an old pentium I 133Mhz, 32Mb Ram, 2Gb HD, Lan Network Card, Floppy (NO cdrom).
I'd like to connect it to my DSL-router and:

- set up a Linux ftp/web server (apache+php)
- (if possible) remove keyboard and monitor and install a server remote control program.

Is it possible, or it's just a "dream"?
I'm not sure how to start (what distro select, etc...), so every tip/suggestion is welcome...

Thank YOU in advance

with 32mb of ram, things could be pretty tough ... you can try installing slackware.

Fedora, etc may find 2GB too constraining.

Well I have had Debian running on a P200 with 32 MB RAM, but that was without KDE/GNOME of any other graphical interface. Using only the command line you should be able to run Apache and a FTP server. Just don't expect anything to be really fast of course

You can also look for small distro's like Puppy Linux of mini linux distro's. I'm quite fond of Debian myself which only uses 200 MB (something like that) when doing a simple installation.

Try this website for different distro's http://www.distrowatch.com/ .
