Linux server and clients Win and Linux, some doubts...

Hello people,

I have a pc (server) with the Mandrake 9 installed with Samba and NFS. Ok. With the Win workstations I have no problem to autenticate in the lan but my doubt: how can I configure the Linux workstations (MDK 9, too) to autenticate with the users that exist in the pc server?
I`d like to configure the lan like a win2000 server, where the server has all the users configurations and permissions and the workstations got that permissions.
