Linux RS9 FQDN?

Hi,
I have installed Linux RH 9 as standalone now I have to configure the fully qualified domain name of this machine. For example the machine name is "lahore" so I want it to be lahore.pakistan.com. I have changed it in /etc/sysconfig/network but no gain.

Pl guide me.

Thanks

You will need to reboot the system or run:
hostname lahore.pakistan.com

Very right

Actually one step I was missing after changing hostname in the network file was not updating the hosts. Now things are nice.

Thanks
