Linux proxy

I am planning to change my proxy server from jana to Linux proxy server (Squid). I would like to know if I can manage linux proxy with my Internet Explorer? Just like I can do it with Jana.

You can manage squid, as well as countless other software packages, with webmin using Internet Exploder, or whatever browser you wish. It can be downloaded from webmin.com and needs to be installed on the squid server. Once installed, simply point your browser to http://<squidboxIP>:10000

Webmin is a great tool for newbie Linux server admins, and is still very useful once you know your way around.

I use Webmin, it is a very powerful tool for squid and more. http://www.webmin.com/

You may also look into the cachemgr.cgi utility. http://www.faqs.org/docs/securing/chap28sec235.html
