linux machine is getting stuck.

Dear Everyone,

I am using a EC2 linux machine and some times its getting stuck i dont know what is the reason. When i am trying to connect using putty as FTP it comes busy.

I am sending .zip file to linux machine from my local machine using SFTP. So i thought while data is getting transferred from local machine to linux server FTP might be busy and this problem is happening But I am not getting why this is happening frequently.

Can anyone please help me on this.

Check with Amazon?

Also, after a lockup, check the EC2 instance's /var/log/messages and dmesg and see if anything is reported in there?

Are you sure you do not have a local connectivity issue on your side that can preclude connectivity being stable?
