linux ip change
 
hello

i am using linux almost one year

redhat was my frist distro then i transferd to slackware 9.1

i like it

but from yesterday

i can't use net in my slackware

(i had windows but i do not use it generally) very often i use (once a month)

in windows net is oky my ip is 192.168.1.201 (i am behind a proxy)
and linux also

but from yester day windows ip is same but linux ip do not 192.168.1.201


when i ping 192.168.1.201 in linux then i tells me that could not connected
and if i ping in 192.168.101.1 then it reply (i have got the 192.168.101.1 from start up recive dhcp)

tell me what can i do to fix it
i do not want to use windows any more .................for net

i have just talked with the server people they
have told me that they r stop the ping option (they r uing redhat)

tell me what i will do
